Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Licensing

MEDuCAN will hold a full license from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), authorizing the manufacture and distribution of medicinal cannabis products and medicines.

This license ensures compliance with the highest standards of quality and safety in the production and supply chain.

Certifications

The Company will be certified to the following Standards six months prior to the start of cultivation:

ISO 22001:2018 + HACCP Control – Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)

ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 – Prerequisite Programmes on Food Safety

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

All certifications will be from a UKAS Accredited Certification Body and subject to both Internal and External Audits on a regular basis.

The FSMS shall include full Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and be backed up by a fully operational and tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) System.
